Delivery Policy

Each Designer-Producer has their own Delivery Policy where the timeframes and costs of the delivery methods are detailed.

To view the Delivery Policy for a product please either search for the relevant Designer-Producer using the ‘search’ function at the top right hand corner of our website to view their page where the Delivery Policy is located or click on the product that you wish to order and then click on the Delivery & Returns section.

We aim to make your shopping experience a positive, simple and easy one. If you have experienced poor service from one of our Designer-Producers or have an issue with either a delivery or an item that you wish to return and are not able to resolve this with the Designer-Producer that you purchased it from, please contact us on enquiries@madefromscotland.com or on 0131 564 0146.

 

Returns & Refunds Policy

All of our Designer-Producers have the same Returns Policy which is detailed below:

If you are unhappy with the product that you have purchased you are entitled to either return or exchange it within 28 days from the date that you received it, as long as you have followed the instructions within this Policy and the product is not a non-refundable good.

Non-refundable goods are those that are:

1)    personalised items that are specifically made to a Customer's specification (e.g. a custom-made prints), except where the Customer has chosen items from pre-determined upgrade options or standard off-the-shelf components. MFS shall determine in its sole discretion as to whether a Product is or is not a personalised item. For the avoidance of doubt, items with hygiene seals are a Refundable Product unless they are personalised items;

 

2)    perishable items, including food and flowers;

 

3)    audio or video recordings or computer software which a Customer has unsealed;

 

4)    newspapers, periodicals or magazines; and

 

5)    items that by their nature cannot be returned, such as where it is physically impossible to return items or where items cannot be restored to the same physical state as they were supplied (e.g. nylon tights),

 

6)     earrings or personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.

 

7)    art, ceramics, jewellery and other creative pieces that are specially commissioned when you place an order.

 

How to return or exchange a refundable good:

Please contact the Designer-Producer directly using the Order Enquiry button which can be found in the My Orders section of your madefromscotland.com account to discuss your item and the reason for your wish to return it.

You should then send the item to the Designer-Producer and it is recommended that this is via a recorded delivery method as neither madefromscotland.com nor the individual Designer-Producer can be held liable for the loss or damage of the returned item before it is received by the Designer-Producer.

If the item is returned successfully, and confirmed as such by the Designer-Producer, we, as the processor of the transaction, will refund the cost of the item to the card with which you purchased it within 30 days.

 

How to return or exchange a faulty good:

Please contact the Designer-Producer directly using the Order Enquiry button which can be found in the My Orders section of your madefromscotland.com account to discuss your item and the reason for your wish to return it.

You should then send the item to the Designer-Producer and it is recommended that this is via a recorded delivery method as neither madefromscotland.com nor the individual Designer-Producer can be held liable for the loss or damage of the returned item before it is received by the Designer-Producer.

If the item is returned successfully, and confirmed as such by the Designer-Producer, we, as the processor of the transaction, will refund the cost of the item to the card with which you purchased it if:

a)    you advise the Designer-Producer of the fault within 28 days of receipt of the good, the costs will be refunded within 24 hours of the product being received and inspected by the seller.

 

b)    you advise the Designer-Producer of the fault between 29 days and 6 months of receipt, the costs will be refunded within 30 days of the product being received and inspected by the seller.

We will only refund the cost of the postage if the item is found to be faulty.
